Because I
missed this assignment, I'm going to talk about cats, and cats only. Cats,
(some kinda latin name for the cat goes here), are a kind of animal used to
keep the mouse population down, and to be good pets. Cats go all the way back
to ancient Egypt, where they were used to keep mice away, they were worshipped
as holy beings, and they were even mummified after death. Cats also can see in
1/6th the light humans need, meaning they have built in night vision goggles,
WHICH IS AWESOME. Cats can also run at 30 mph, faster than Usain Bolt, the
fastest human on earth, and just below the speed of a leopard. Cats can't taste
anything sweet, their taste buds cannot detect any sugar, so cupcakes are bland
as heck for them. When a cat lies on it's back, it wants a head rub, not a
belly rub, so if you do rub a cats belly while it's on its back, rub their head
instead. The cat can also land on its feet perfectly, by balancing itself while
it's falling. The cat can also jump at very high distances, up to 196cm in height,
and that’s high. The cat is also widely recognized in Japan, with
"cat cafes" being places around here and there, so people can play
with a cat if they don't have one. There is also a
train conductor who is a cat, in Japan. There are many cat themed objects
around the world, some in Japan, some in the U.S.A, and some in some other
place in the world.
Some cats have gone
into pop culture, with Garfield being one of them. There are also many cats who
are popular on the internet, such as Grumpy Cat, Lil Bub, Keyboard Cat, and so on. I‘ve probably entered full on gush mode by now, as cats are one of my
favorite animals of all time, so I’m going to full this space here with filler,
mostly because I can’t think of anything else, so there you have it, a blog post
about cats, whoop. I’m probably going to go home and play with my cat as soon
as I get some, and if you have a cat, you should do that as well, as cats are
nice, and should be cared for every day of their lives. As they only got one
life in this world, not nine lives.
